About Me

My photo
Married 39 years, mother of 3 and grandmother of 5. I'm a seamstress and I've worked at a alteration shop for about 17 years. It's been real interesting working with women from 6 different nations. Jesus is the center of my live. He is my peace, my refudge, my beloved. My prayer is that the work of my hands, the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart are pleasing to Him.

Peanut's Garden

Violet
Sweet Corn
Tomato Watermelon
Daisy

Well, as promised, here are some of the baby/toddler hats that I've been working on. I'm calling my collection "Peanut's Garden" as that's the nickname of my granddaughter Eliana (pictured wearing the Rose)
I also have a Banana, Cherry, Grape, Pineapple, Strawberry, Carrot & Pumpkin.
Let me know what you think!

Along with the hats, I'm now working on Cocoons, hammocks, snugs plus infant hats for photography props. I have masses of colorful yarn and many knitting needles. I'll be quite busy for awhile.
I hope to post my hats on http://www.thesewingroomutica.com/ website soon. My quilts & costumes are already posted there under "Services"

You are TRULY amazing, Kathy - using and developing the interests and skills God has blessed you with in such beautiful ways!

The dog quilt was spectacular...and these hats are precious (as was the photograph of your grandbaby modeling one)!

I enjoyed reading the synopsis of how your creative endeavors came to be...and your blog background and layout are sensational!

Wish I had the $$$ to purchase one of everything!
